Hi,
My 1 and half yr old needs tubes due to constant ear infections and fluid.
It would be very helpful if someone can guide me from your experience with any of the above drs. Im not sure which one to go with and wondering what the difference is.
any information would be greatly appreciated!

My toddler just had an adenoidectomy done by Dr. Rickert a couple of weeks ago and bh we were really happy. He's quick, really nice, gentle with the kids. My toddler usually freaks out when we visit any doctors and was perfectly fine with him.
Only downside is that he tends to run late so waiting time can be upwards of an hour sometimes.

Both doctors are very competent. Do they both accept your insurance? If so, I was thrilled with Dr. Rickert's bedside manner and expertise. Dr. Goldsmith almost operated on my son, while Dr. Rickert advised we wait and see. Five years later, ds outgrew the issue and we avoided surgery! I don't recall any extensive wait at Dr. Rickert- can't say the same for Dr. Goldsmith.
Disclaimer: DS was supposed to have an adenoidectomy, not tubes.

Love Dr. Rickert! We are "frequent flyers", he's seen all of my kids for one ENT issue or another.

I've used Dr. Rickert for complicated ENT issues and was always very happy with him. Very knowledgeable and very caring. But, as others have noted, he is definitely overworked, so there may be some wait times or lag in responses if it's not urgent.
