Who in your household pays the Bills, takes care of finances?
My dh is pressuring me to take over since he comes home exhausted from work and its "too hard". I'm bh blessed with a family and busy household and cant see myself taking this on... but trying not to feel guilty about it. I'm curious what it's like in other households.

I wrote other. My husband is in "charge" of paying bills but I take care of certain ones. I can easily take over if he needs me to and we both have equal access to all accounts and money. Sometimes I will realize something is due and just pay it, but at this point I let him have primary responsibility. I used to pay them all.

Same. Getting a job now for myself and keeping the money for myself since I need to be able to spend money on things without having to ask.

I pay my bills. I have 4 charge cards in my name.
I give my own tzedukah. I get cash from him when I need.
DH pays the household bills, his personal bills, and gives his tzedukah.

Same. I pay my credit card bills, he pays his, and there are a couple of random things that we each take care of. Everything else is automated, and dh monitors those.

I used to do it until there was not enough money and we had to juggle which bill gets paid first!
It was stressing me out way too much and I told my husband, it became his job!!
I think I would be much better at it than him,he really doesn't have so much time and he's not very detail oriented but I still think I would be way too stressed so I'm not offering!
(I only get upset when water gets shut off because the bill wasn't paid!! )

Why don't you withdraw cash on your own?

I voted me, but we try to sit down regularly so we're on the same page financially. Im better at the little numbers and keeping track of the accounts and due dates. Dh is better at the big picture.
Most bills these days can be set up for automatic payments. Why don't you sit down together and do this?

I am the main earner and naturally more concerned about things like credit scores and interest rates so I pay them. I'm the type of person who pays bills the same day the online bill is available, and I prefer to have bills paid before spending for fun. These days everything can be paid online, including the mortgage, and paying a bill takes 3 minutes so no big deal.

DH pays all the bills, even when I was the primary breadwinner. Ironically, all the bank apps are on my phone, not his. I count my blessings that he is as responsible about it as I am not.

When I was supporting DH through school I felt that it should be his responsibility, but he was the first one to say that the nitty gritties are not his strength. I would get upset every time a bill was late, until eventually I realized that I could spend my life getting upset or just take over. At this point I still work but I’ve taken over the bills and we’re both much happier this way.

Me. It's all me.
When I first met dh and discovered he didn't balance his checkbook (this is in the days before electronic banking) and that he didn't even keep track of the checks he wrote, I took over the finances. Including controlling our retirement and investment accounts.
I don't like doing it, but I know I'll get it done.
My mother manages her and my dad's money, so I guess I get it from her.
I joke with dh that if I chas v'shalom pass away today, he'll have no idea how to access our bank accounts!

I take care of all finances and pay all the bills.
I apprise DH if anything is out of the ordinary, like an unusually high electricity bill, and we discuss it together. But otherwise he leaves it all to me.

18 bills per month, 4 of them are auto withdrawl so I need to remember to do 14 of them. I pretty much just line up with when the bulk of our income comes in and do 7 around mid month and another 7 around the end of the month. I could set up others on autowithdrawl but I like the flexibility of paying diff amounts each month to credit cards and paying diff days each month for larger bills.
