I have Fidelis but I hear it’s mostly used in monsey and in Brooklyn it’s difficult to find a doctor who takes Fidelis.
I am looking for myself and my baby
I am thinking of switching to another insurance.
I’m looking into
- empire blue cross
- health first
- united healthcare
Which of the 3 would you recommend to me?

Definitely not United Healthcare. Don't know why you think it's difficult to find doctors who accept Fidelis in Brooklyn. That has not been my experience.

I have fidelis in Brooklyn and no problem finding doctors for me and my kids.
Not United healthcare. A lot of doctors dropped them.

Many doctors in the Boro park area don't take Healthfirst.

General doctor like well check ups and stuff.
Also looking for an obgyn in Boro park or close to Boro park that’s affiliated with NYU so I don’t have to go to Williamsburg and back. (Really don’t want to go to Maimonides.)

I am in Brooklyn and have Healthfirst. I have never felt like I was lacking for Dr. options. But I was looking for an OBGYN two weeks ago, and there were surprisingly few options in Boro Park (other than Maimonides, of course.) Some, but not many.

There are many options just outside of BP, though - in practicallly ALL the surrounding neighborhoods.
