Is a 6 yo hair too thin?
Minimum inches required?

Zichron Menachem requires 12”.

I think most places require 12 inches

Also they typically prefer undyed hair and that it be braided on top and bottom.

Yes. 12 inches and up usually cut in a braid.

As long as it's 12 inches, it doesn't really matter how thick it is.

Just donated my six year old daughters to zichron menachem. It was more like 11 inches but they gladly took it.
