I am making pesach for 8 people. Excluding matzah and wine, groceries are about $1,000. Of course there are ways to cut back.. paper goods, meat, fresh fish etc those don’t have to be bought but it’s hard to cut back when you are used to yomtov being a certain way. Pesach is a very expensive holiday. Even for those of us who stay home.
