I’m looking for a summer camp for My 16 year old son who is very high functioning.

Could be for 2 weeks. We’d have to come to whichever state offers it. Don’t even know if this idea is practical or even doable.

We don’t live in USA, & I think our provincial government will not allow camps to open again this summer. So need alternative ideas for some summer plans.

Are there any ideas from imas out there ?
I’d love some options for him this year.
Last year his camp was cancelled. He loves outdoors & swimming.

Does it have to be day camp? Look into Camp Kaylie. He's at kind of a borderline age, so you may need to ask if it would work. But we've been very happy there. And kids come from international locations all the time.

Campkaylie.org

It's an integrated camp for kids with various high functioning special needs (autism, add, etc) and neurotypical kids. There's typical camp things- sports, color war, great night activities. But they also have a lot of choice of things to do, including arts and crafts, go karts, and game room. My son has had bunkmates from Israel and Guatemala.

Camp Kaylie is full.
Called last week.

What about camp Chavarim? Saw an ad in AMI for it. It’s a Yachad camp.
Anyone experienced with it? Its for 6 weeks though.
