Hi,
I'm tired of my usual recipes. Having company this shabbos, what can I serve with the cholent? Something easy to prepare.

Also what do you make for Friday night meal when you don't have guests?
Thank you!

Some things that taste good cold or at room temp for shabbos day:

Sesame noodles
Potato salad
Rice salad
Salad with cubes of deli or chicken
Honey nut turkey cutlets
Grilled chicken sliced on the diagonal
Meat board with grilled chicken, shnitzel, mini turkey cabanossi, dried salami, various cold cuts, spiced olives, mini pickles, mustard, vine tomatoes

Friday night fave here is grilled skirt steak or grilled chicken over a big salad, with baby potatoes and roasted broccoli or sesame green beans.

I often grill London broil for Shabbos day. It’s great room temperature.
