Have you tried Peds (sold at Target, though often out of stock)? They're actually trouser socks.

Memoi has queen size knee highs in black and nude. Avail in most Jewish hosiery stores

I use the memoi knee highs and love them. they look like tights.

They have them in shoprite for very cheap and in the chain drug store, rite aid, cvs

I buy the ones labeled trouser socks in Target...they are thicker like tights and have always fit me well.

There are queen size knee highs. I usually get No nonsense brand, don’t know of more opaque ones.

Yeah that's where I get the Peds brand (thick and opaque, but also soft)
