Elderberry is not something to take daily. Nor is echinacea.

These are things to take the second you feel something coming three times a day.

Daily vitamin c, d, is good to stay healthy.

Take vitamin d with fat. Eggs or avocado.

Wow such incredible information!
Goldenseal got rid of my seven year old stubborn strep throat. Amazing herbal antibiotic. I used it for my sinus infection and it was gone in 24 hours!

Elderberry is actually a good immune support all year long. Absolutely not for only in acute situation. So much misleading info out there

RDs are not trained herbalists so I wouldn't necessarily take advice about herbs from one.
I think goldenseal is not recommended during pregnancy.

For people with overactive immune systems it can be too stimulating.

Exactly! RD know zero about herbs! I'm literally laughing... Goldenseal is a key herb for me and my kids to stay in top shape. Obviously in pregnancy most herbs aren't safe. Breastfeeding same thing. It's says so on every bottle!

I got the impression about elderberry from Wise Women Herbal but she speaks about it poetically so I definitely could be wrong.

Elderberry is really good all the time. All year round just for maintenance too.
