Two of my children have severe cases of flu unfortunately. I’m terrified to catch it since my family needs me. Is it wise to get the flu shot tonight? If someone has been directly exposed to flu does the shot make them sick ch”v. Please forgive my ignorance re flu, nobody in my family, my husband and I included, has gotten the flu in the thirteen years that I’ve been married....

Probably not the best idea because you have a weakened immune system for a week or two following the shot.

I would call your doctor and see if they can prescribe tamiflu for you to take as a precaution, and to give your children as well. Refuah shelaima!!!

I'd just load up on vitamin C and good nutrition... not an injection. Strengthen your system don't weaken it
