We are g-d willing going on a trip to seattle for a week. we did go last on a plane with our baby when he was three months old. and then he was still pretty "newborny" and he ate as we went up, ate when we went down and the flying didnt bother him. but now he is more active- obviously ( doesnt crawl yet- but needs constant occupation etc...) does anyone have any tips on how to make this trip enjoyable for all of us? (Don't worry we are ecpecting a few mishaps on the way- but we wanna be prepared for them)

be very organized. prepare a CLEAR bag with lots more snacks and foods than you think you need. when traveling with 2 children, then prepare 2 baggies of every food. prepare a small bag filled with toys that you bought at a dollar store- think
story,
activity,
imagination,
coloring,
art,
cuddly,
related theme-
examples are, a book, game that is age appropriate, cars for boys or dolls for girls, (although having traveled with 2 of each they all love the other toy) crayons and notebook, stickers or magna doodle, stuffed animal, and an airplane. buy at a dollar store so if you lose it you don't care. pull out a new toy as the old one fades away.
have a scheduale. get on the plane, and let them get aquainted with the plane. the feed them snacks (time it for take off) then do the toys. then put away change diaper in the bathroom and let them run up and down the aisle. then feed snack and try to settle them for a nap. Pray that they sleep a LONG time! when they wake up give more toys, then feed again to coordinate with landing. repeat these toy, food, running as manu times as needed!
pack enough diaper so if you get stuck over night you have enough. same with food and formula. take a change of clothes for the baby- and plenty of baby wipes- handy for when they spill the soda! make sure that you sleep well the night before- hahaha

most kids are actually not bothered by it- unless they are prone to earaches and infections. if he uses a pacifier then give him that or give him alot of salty foods, then just as the plane begins lift off, show him a bottle with juice. I promise you he'll jump to get a drink!
