Does anyone have a good teigelach recipe? (pastries boiled in honey) The Spice and Spirit one came out dense and heavy. Maybe someone can point out what I'me doing wrong?

Yum, I love teiglach but I've never made them. They usually include nuts which we don't eat on Rosh Hashana so I buy one after Y"T at a bakery in Long Island. I would love a recipe though to try.

I'm told my grandmother a"h used to make them every Rosh Hashana (without nuts, I assume) but nobody's kept up the tradition. I've tried a few times, but they never came out good.
