Every day at the end of davening.
A prayer from the heart is always a segulah.

I think the segula is to say it 7 times. The first 3 times you say it the correct way. The next 3 times you start at the end and say it that way up till the beginning. And the last time you say it the regular way again. You say just the 1st paragraph.

The joke is that one cannot tell if it's a joke or not.

Sorry, I'm not good at getting jokes.
And while I personally would never actually try such a "segulah", there are many imas who would. (Read all the threads in search of mekubalim.)

It's not stated. But it's from a reliable sefer. I don't have the time to research right now, sorry.

This. I read it in a sefer.
It's a segula for the bad that's supposed to happen to us this year to be torn away. The source is brought down from one of the big tzadikim, I forgot which tzaddik. I can research it when I'm at my in laws again.

Yehoshua said this tefillah 7 times as they were circling around Yericho.
The 7th time, the wall around the city came down.
This tefillah definitely has a koach.

Oh come on. I do not believe for 1 minute that Yehoshua ben Nun said the 4th 5th and 6th time round from the end backwards.
I don't get it. Was that bit a joke?

No, it's not a joke. Just because you never heard of it, it doesn't mean that it's a joke.
