I'm actually surprised at how many here are making pesach!!!
Especially because this site skews younger.

I'm in my low 30s.

I’m 24 and I’m making Pesach at home for the 4th time!
We live an ocean away from family and tickets aren’t cheap…
At least I don’t keep 2 days, so I don’t have to cook too much, just for 6 seudas for me , dh and 2 toddlers.

Catskills Hotel.

Made pesach at home during Covid and loved it. But this is the only way for the whole family to be together and is my parents wishes.

Basically, I am being mekayem the mitzva of kibbud as v’em by going to a hotel (abet not a glamorous one) and not making pesach. I really can’t complain.

Home for both sedarim , 1 lunch, and Friday night. Will eat out for two lunches. Home for chol hamoed and second days and hosting sleepover guests.

Only the first year I slept out 1st and 2nd days, but made pesach and stayed home/cooked chol hamoed. Ever since then it's been home sweet home. I love YT at home with my own bed and my own food. So good to be relaxed and enjoy the family BEH. (Beforehand isn't relaxed but it's enjoyable knowing what we're getting ready for.)

Wow! Sounds so special, and beautiful that you appreciate it.

Thank you. I made a full pesach during Covid. I will be the first to say it’s much easier to go away. Though I obviously help my MIL and I helped her mother too, it’s not the same when the burden is not on you.
