The Dekal came off, leaving ZERO residue Smile
Yay!!!!!!!

I guess they did a very good job switching up the material this year.

How did it go for everyone else?

Worked well for me. Was slightly hard to take off but didn't leave any residue or anything like that

It’s nice that people gave it another try.

The one from Amazon at a quarter of the price lasted nicely and peeled off nicely and was shipped to my front door.

Sure sure is because this post is reading like a paid advertisement. Honestly the other thread about this seems more real.

But it seems they may have adjusted the glue formulation and I taped mine on this year to be sure, it was actually the best counter cover I have ever experienced. If the glue is fixed its a true winner. Now if the price can get slightly more affordable I am sure this will become the standard go to.

It was great but very expensive!
I didn't realize how many rolls I would need to cover my smallish kitchen (5!). I originally bought one...

Sounds like a paid advertisement.

But honestly? Too expensive. I taped down cheap contact paper. Did the trick, no hassle, no mess and I didn't have to worry about my counters.

Lol It’s not any sort of ad. I saw a different thread asking if people are gonna be trying Dekal this year and lots of people said “won’t take the chance” so I wanted to share that this year the material was better and it didn’t mess up my countertops.

Worked great but it was expensive and the made the rolls smaller this year. I didn't realize and bought the same amount as last year and I was short.

Bumping this up for this year.
What do you all use to cover your kitchen surfaces? Can someone link something similar to dekal but from Amazon?

I used this. Came off my counters just fine, no residue at all. Looked pretty also, which is a nice bonus

Formica. I didn't put hot food directly on, not worth the risk IMO.
