we're currently looking for a high school for my ds in the FR/5T area. We want something small, warm, low key. this yeshiva was mentioned to us but I dont know anyone who has sent a child there. Does anyone here know what kind of boys tend to go there? or know anyone who might know and be willing to communicate with me? thanks

Sorry granola mom just was responding to you now. Any more info. You need please lmk. Also forgot to mention there are quite a few boys from Kew Gardens and I know that they are trying to set up a PTA committee that would sponsor events for the boys.

Oh too bad it sounds like something that might have been good for my son. Any idea where those rebbeim went? Or of a yeshiva that is similar?

You can try yeshiva ateres etz chaim in cedarhurst
Rabbi Oppen is the menahel
It’s not the same as yam HaTorah, they have a unique paradigm. Worth having a conversation with rabbi oppen, he’s a tzaddik nistar

Check out their website. I just did. It is not what I am looking for for my son. I’m looking for a small, warm, understanding, encouraging yeshiva that can help with his weakness in learning and build him up but I am still looking for more or less a mainstream mahalach - just less intense and more understanding and help… If anyone knows of something like this please comment
