Looking to buy a GPS device that doesn't need streaming internet or wifi. I have internet to set it up but not paired up with internet/wifi on the go.
Any recommendations? the older posts may not be reliable information for June 2023.
I would prefer an actual GPS and not a Kosher Waze device which seems very expensive and need to buy service along with it.
My budget is up to $200. It's hard to figure out online which GPS version will work for me.
It's for a big mitzvah so appreciate all help.
Thank you!

I would get a good Garmin GPS device, which works through satellites and doesn't need any Internet access. You should be able to get a new one for under $200.
Before the prevalence of cell phones with Waze and Google Maps, that's how we criss-crossed most of the country without any issues. DH actually still brings our old Garmin as a backup in case we're in a place with no cell phone reception.
