These days a nice percentage of right-wing YU guys, do wear black hats. But afaik theyre not choosing to live in TR or Jackson, theyre more likely to live in Teaneck, or the 5 towns, etc.
They have the black hat in common with Agudah types, but they choose to send to different schools, etc.
YU and Lakewood/TR/Jackson personalities and mindsets, are very different.

Yes, there are hardly ever houses on the market in that area, though.

Agudah type is kind of a relic from the past…
Erlich simple Flatbush, black hat, professional
There are also many agudah types OOT
I wouldn’t really describe lakewoods community as agudah, because even those who fit the description are really not the same

Many people who davened in the 14th Avenue BP Agudah (it doesnt exist any more) (and probably Agudah of Avenue L as well), have kids in Lakewood and moved to be near their kids.

Hi! My parents davened in the 14th avenue Agudah and many of their friends moved to 55+ communities like Pine River, the Enclave, and Fairways.

Not really. Rwmo you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them and jpf and yeshivish based on look.
