My daughter and future son in law were dating for a while and the date was set they would get engaged . That day , before the big date where he would propose , he called my husband d and officially asked. My husband and I (and our daughter !) thought it was so sweet ! Of course it was just a formality but it showed kavod to my husband. He is on the shy side so we know it wasn’t the easiest thing for him to pick up the phone and call my husband. We appreciated it very much.
