I homeschool my kids for the past many years. Definitely no system is perfect. Sending to school would just trade our existing imperfections for a different set, and so in our case, this is currently a more ideal set up.
We’ve mostly greatly enjoyed our homeschooling years. My kids have been able to be filled up with all sorts of programs (they play instruments, ride horses, do community classes and programs together, hire the best local teachers for private/semi private learning (sometimes alone, with friends), ice skating, I mean you name it… the kids get to shine in so many ways. My children have friends in the homeschool community and in the local schools.

Baltimore has a large frum homeschooling community. There's group lessons in sports and music and co ops. It's great!

I homeschool. I have 3 special needs kids and the Jewish schools here don't have a great options for them and I'm not willing to put them in public school. I also can't afford tuition but could probably get a scholarship. It's going well. My kids have a lot of friends except 1 kid and that's because he can't speak intelligibly not because he's homeschooled.

I would love to homeschool. But I’m worried about my kids social life, they need friends and social outlets and structure.
I’m also worried about shidduchim. It’s not a thing where I live.
