Flying Air France to Israel with a stop in Paris.
Is Paris safe to go out in with kids?
Will I be able to bring a bugaboo butterfly onto my flight? Are they super strict with hand luggage size etc?

I live in Paris. It is safe-- probably safer than major cities in the US, just don't wander out to suburbs, stay in the main central areas and be vigilant, like you would in any major world city.
I flew Air France to Israel recently too BH it was a good flight. In my experience they are strict about size and weight with hand luggage. I had to pay extra for a checked bag because I didn't think to include my purse in the total hand luggage weight and I was over by around 1lb.
