Due to sensory issues, no. But in general there isn't much he knows how to do. He does his job very well and makes a decent living. He enjoys spending time with family and takes torah seriously. He will take out the garbage and changes the light bulbs (something I am scares to do). He encourages the kids to listen to me and wants what's best for them. No ones husband is perfect.

Obviously if I’m not around then there’s no choice. But if I’m around it’s my job. Just like it’s his job to do bedtime.

I'm not saying this to cause resentment but to raise the rock bottom imamother husband expectations. What woman in the world ever says "I worked hard all day so I need to sit on the couch and unwind, so the kids won't get bathed or fed" And what in the world do genitals have to do with washing dishes or putting kids to bed? |
Well, since you're asking... I do.

How’s this? My husband does a lot including changing dirty diapers.
I, however, will never deal with vomit. I am easily nauseous and I mostly throw up if I’m in the same room as it.
I wonder if the situation was reversed and it was my husband who wouldn’t go near the vomit how everyone would react

I was just going to say the same. I really don't handle vomit well, so it's ALWAYS his job to clean up the kid, and the vomit. Unless he is out and too far away to dash home!
I truly don't believe it's anyone's business to say what spouses 'ought' to do. My husband more than pulls his weight in all other areas, so if he prefers not to do dishes, or baths-- and I'm good with it, then everyone else can go fly a kite
This isn't a communist society last time I checked.

Same! He handles vomit (except when he’s not around, which is usually when the kids choose to vomit ) and I handle blood. Roles are fine, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.

Same! He gets weak from blood, while it didn’t bother me at all

Both dh and I do bathtime - he less often.
However…
Yesterday he was bathing our 2 y/o and the kid pooped in the tub. Pretty sure it’s the last time daddy’s bathing them!

Yes. Husband can and does everything that I do except braid challah and make nice ponytail for girls. Can’t think of anything else he doesn’t do. Depending on what our schedules are like and what is going on- so sometimes he does baths and sometimes not. Right now he doesn’t do baths but he used to years ago when our schedules were different.
