I think I smell gas near my gas cooktop.
Who can check ASAP if I have a gas leak from my cooktop in BP?

You can try chaveirim and see if they have detectors.
We have a small portable carbon monoxide meter that we keep at home that can test an area, if you'd like to borrow it.
You can also call the fire department or gas company but they can lock down your gas if there's an issue while you wait around for them to schedule an appt to fix it.
Call 911 if there's an emergency.

Call Brooklyn Union Gas immediately.
Just so you know, gas leaks usually smell like rotten eggs, not gas. This is something they add to make sure people are well aware if there’s a leak, but don’t take any chances.
