Dds bas mitzva coming up soon.
Planning on making a melave malka for friends and family and a shabbos meal with her grandparents possibly if they feel OK to come for a meal.
Am I supposed to invite her father for the shabbos meal , knowing I won't spend much of the time at the table in his presence.
Shall offer dd to invite him or just for m.m when it's less formal.

I’d leave it up to DD and make happy memories for her.

Would be nice if you could invite him, not necessary.

Ask your daughter, but only if u can handle whatever she wants. If u wont be ok if he is there, it wont benefit her.
if you are making something in a hall or someoneelses house then easier to invite him. Its weird to have him by your house.
