Hello moms! I'm looking for some recommendations for Nintendo DS games that would be suitable for a 12 year old boy. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance

Thanks everyone. Would you have a link (even out of stock) or a picture just so I can make sure I'm buying the right one, I'm clueless....

Nintendo DS is obsolete 2 generations ago. 3DS by one generation. Current Nintendo generation is the Switch. There is the handheld only Switch so no need for a TV at all but internet connection is needed to at least download data (antipiracy method to not fully have the entire data on the cart so a little bit of data is needed from the internet) and patches for glitches even if you do not want to play online games.
Keep in mind some old games are so rare that they are inflated if you still want or have an older generation system like the Pokemon games for DS.

Keep in mind these are pirated games and the cartridge itself can be of dubious quality.

We get the games on ebay. My kids love it. It’s much better than the Nintendo switch because you don’t have to worry about internet and YouTube.

Ahhh nostalgia!
New Super Mario bros
Mario Karts DS
If he’s into puzzle solving, the Scribblenauts series is awesome
Brain age was also a good one, tho more casual and not a full time game
You’re talking about the plain DS, right? The 3DS has a much bigger collection, but I’ll try to remember what else I played on the DS.

I wouldn’t go this route, it’s glitchy and you can’t control what your kids are playing. Just because it’s 15 year old tech doesn’t mean it’s kosher.
