I’m in need of a high school for 14 yr old girl
Small, warm, open minded, not academic, but can keep an eye on a girl who’s struggling.
Boarding families who will treat her like one of their own.
Can be anywhere within the US.
Thanks in advance for your help!!!

I think a lot of these schools are for more emotionally and mentally challenged girls, that’s not really what she needs
Just a warm, caring school that doesn’t focus on academics. The most beneficial I think would be that she’s away from home, with a healthy, positive environment

Most of the schools suggested here are schools for girls who are struggling in yiddishkeit and possible drugs/alcohol. Is that what you’re looking for? Silver spring may be an option for you. Don’t know if Denver would b an option? What about the school in Virginia is that still around?

Yes exactly. No, addiction is not what we’re struggling with bh. Do you have more details on Silver spring or Denver? Virginia would be great but I heard it fell apart unfortunately (they didn’t have enough girls)

My sister went to torah academy of Milwaukee many years ago. I know nothing about it, but maybe worth a check. Also the girls school in Atlanta, I don’t remember what it’s called.

Look into Yotzer Ohr Miami. They have a waiting list for the dorm but if you can find a boarding family or have relatives it would work. It's a great school for girls who don't do well with academic pressure, and it's small enough that everyone is noticed and cherished. The principal is a fantastic lady and honestly if every principal was like her the world would be a better place. You can pm me for more info.
