I hate bedtime so much. I hate it hate it hate it. It's 9:38. I've been putting them to bed for two hours just bouncing between children to put them to bed. It's a thankless job.

I love parenting. Really I do. But let's face it. Bedtime stinks.

We've had hard phases around bedtime. Also bath time.
Overall though, I do enjoy my children. I look forward to 'true bedtime' like anyone else; that's human nature.

I do enjoy parenting. I don't love every part of it, like the tantrums, bedtime, etc. etc.
But I love spending time with my kids and raising them.
And before you jump to conclusions, I have some really really really difficult ones! BH for each one.

It depends.... I'm an introvert and need lots of quiet alone time. When I have enough of that built into the day then I generally enjoy the time I spend parenting and even the hard stuff I have patience for. But when I didn't have enough time for myself during the day, it's a whole nother story....

I could’ve written this. For this same reason I enjoy older kids much more than babies and toddlers.

My kids are teens now and teens are SO. FREAKIN. HARD. So there's a lot about it I don't love but BH that "bedtime" is a thing of the past. When they're tired, they go to bed. Hang in there, moms.... at some point soon there will be no more bedtime shenanigans.
