How to test for autism?

My ds therapist said he should be tested for autism. I didn’t ask him how to go about it. In the meantime, does anyone know? I live in NY.

An ei evaluator should be able to help you. I know more than one that do it through the agencies. Call yeled vyalda or any of these agencies.

Could be a developmental pediatrician or a psyD (doctor of psychology). The test often used is the ADOS
