I cut my hair very short, shorter then chin length and it’s sticking out from under my tichel, what should I do? How can I prevent it from sticking out?

I don't know what they're called but would one of those black sock things that you wear under your tichel help?
Could you tie your hair in 2 little elastics - like 2 little pigtails - would it be long enough for that?

Are you keeping it tied up in a ponytail?

I have hair that is too short for a ponytail. It limits the kinds of tichels I can wear--I generally stick with pretieds with velcro--the Velcro and elastic tends to keep the tichel on and the hair in.
My hair is super thick with lots of body. So I actually cut it really short--and that helps too. But I keep it long enough on top/in front so that there's enough hair to pull back into the tichel, if that makes sense.

I'm pretty sure she isn't keeping it up on a ponytail, because if she was able to do that she wouldn't have a question...

Unfortunately it’s not long enough to tie into a ponytail

Sometimes hair gel and or mousse can help to get hair to cooperate under a teichel.

What about wearing a soft wide headband under the tichel? Or a wig grip?

My hair is also thick so I am keeping it just long enough to pull in to a ponytail

Such a nice thing for you to do. Which organizations accept hair donations?

hair should be either very short or very long. you have a choice to let it grow or to cut it shorter.

If you cut it very short you still might have little spikes of short hair sticking out and will need to wear a velvet wig grip to hold them back. Btdt.

Unless you do it with a shaver you are going to have little pieces sticking up straight out, even with a crew cut.

Was going suggest same idea. If you wet & add a little gel around hair line should be secure for a long time. They come in different sizes btw, some can be tight, so if anything is too tight you should be able find a looser one

When my hair’s too short for one ponytail, I use the thin elastics and put it into a few ponytails. I have thin hair and it lays well.
