Does anyone have recommendations for good phone plans while in Israel. I usually use Verizon TravelPass which has been super unreliable.

I have SIM cards from Triple Tel for talk n text phones and Freedom Hot for Data phones ( you can't text to outside of Israel or get your US text messages) and activate it while I'm in Israel. The Verizon connection is better.

Cellcom and Hotmobile are usually the most reliable. there are also quite a few stores inside the central station that sell SIM cards with these carriers

Do any of these phone plans include coverage for eSim cards?

There are vending machines in Ben Gurion airport, at arrivals, that sell sim cards.
If your phone is unlocked, juts buy one and pop it in.
For eSim, this is a reliable company

Thank you so much for your help with the eSim. Just spoke to an Annatel rep and will be using them. Can't wait to be in Israel.

I think that when using Verizon TravelPass in Israel Cellcom becomes the service provider. My last few trips my phone service was terrible!! Thinking I should skip the TravelPass and use something else. Or is that Cellcom service in general and just leave it? Has anyone used talk n save?
