I absolutely loved marrying off my daughter as a mother (though I didn't give enough thought to what it would be like not to have her under my roof on a daily basis. This has been an adjustment for me.)
It was such a beautiful time to shop with her, set up her home, take her for gown fittings, etc....I loved every minute.
