First of all, I apologize to everyone deathly afraid of the P word. If that's you, this is your second warning. The first is in the title Wink

What can I make/prep in a slow cooker for Pesach? BH I have a Pesach kitchen so I like to start my prep Purim time and freeze as much as I can.

I'm thinking sauteed onions, tomato sauce, anything else? Besides for cholent on YT itself, obviously.

We are non-gebroktz and don't use any storebought ingredients except oil and salt, and I prefer to limit sugar.

TIA!

You can make plenty of soups in the crock pot. I've seen recipes for onion soup, definitely can make chicken soup too. It's a good thing to freeze in advance

I love my slow cooker. I go between that and the instant pot based on different life circumstances. But I make the best soup and roast in the crock pot.

I like to make a 'weekday' soup in my crock pot. I like having it for chol hamoed supper. I put the frozen soup in the morning and there is something to eat right away when you come home after a long day.

Limited ingredients here as well.
Basic veg soup - I shredded all the veggies bec I wanted to save the chopping time.

If you have an immersion blender you can also make butternut squash - use ginger for flavoring. Yum

Shredded beef is great in a crockpot. I serve it on Pesach over mashed potatoes.

Yes - it's great! I haven't actually made that kind of setup in my basement (yet?) but I like how the article lays out step-by-step ideas.
