From when they get home till they go to sleep the kids fight non stop
I feel like (I don’t even want to say how I feel)
I’m beyond overwhelmed and frustrated
No matter how I try to entertain them or prepare dinner so they’re not hungry
Fighting and screaming non stop
Please help

Yeah I know how you feel. What ages? Can you send them outside for part of the time at least? Would they go?

Me too! I was just think this today. From 4-8pm in my house is complete chaos. And I feel like such a shmatte. They cry they fight and they’re so so needy! 5 Kids aged 2-15.

Can you try to have a healthy snack prepared when they get home? Kids come home hungry and if they’re fed properly they’re less likely to act up.

I’d like to add that maybe they’re fighting because they see you’re distracted. Can you try to have most of supper prepared by the time they get home so you can be focused on them completely? BTDT it’s not easy but I find if I’m prepared and give them what they need they are less likely to fight.

Dinner is ready by the time they walk in
Fresh hot dinner
And if it’s not for some reason, there’s fresh cut fruit and crackers that they like
Believe me I’ve tried everything

Oh gosh even at age 15? My oldest is 9 I was hoping it would resolve by the time he’s 10 or 11

my oldest is 13. I find that the crabbing, whining of the younger ones drive her crazy and then I need to listen to her get all bent out of shape over them. When it's just her she's pretty fine

Try tehillimarmy.org at 6 PM if you're okay with a form of screentime.
Its a great zoom call for inspiration (entertainment) and tehillim.
Kids still can fight though
