Hi!
Looking for a nice hotel on the beach in Miami for a few days in March.
Off season so hopefully a little less expensive?
Needs to be walking distance to kosher food but not necessarily minyanim.
all suggestions welcome!
want to keep the price somewhat reasonable.
I have never done this before so I am clueless as to how low it can go with these criteria.
All suggestions welcome!

Sorry, March may not be Jewish midwinter, but it's spring break, which is definitely not off season in Miami. You're not going to find any bargain rates then, especially on the beach.

Not cheap but St. Regis in bal harbor is on beach
Grand beach in surfside is also on beach and in walking distance to kosher food.
These places are full of jews and most times

Grand Beach Surfside is our favorite hotel choice.

Got it. So no good deals.
Is there anything a little cheaper than Grand Beach that is still on the beach and nice?

I second grand beach Surfside!! Love the hotel and it’s in a perfect location in terms of kosher food

If you want walking distance to kosher food your limiting yourself to two places

Surfside
You have the grand Beach Surfside - or West if you want on beach

41st - look for hotels near here maybe a little cheap however I'm not sure how "deep" into 41 the kosher restaurants are.

You can look into other options and consider renting a car or Ubering.

Walking distance to food honestly seems like an unnecessary criteria. The perfect is the enemy of the good. If you loosen your criteria you can still have a great vacation and stay within budget

Beach Place is about one block from the beach. It’s walkable to Surfside for davening and eating - it’s a healthy 20 minute walk each way. Hotel is no frills but has kitchenettes and a pool, and gives beach chairs for the beach. When I went it was like 200 dollars a night for a family suite and it was full of chassidim. I personally had an amazing vacation. Not a luxury hotel by far.

Ok so changing the criteria a little.
How about not walking distance to food but on the beach.
It's more important for me to be on the beach than near food
Please let me know if you have personal experience somewhere nice but cheaper than grand beach

I was about to post it. If your looking for hotel walkable to food and affordable this might be the only option. I stayed here w years ago and it was decent enough. Not luxury but had a pleasant stay.
