BH my baby is 3months and constantly has blowouts. Have been using Kirkland diapers which are supposedly made by Huggies. He’s around 10lbs and is 50th percentile for length….currently using size 1. Are blowouts supposed to happen a lot regardless of brand? I’ve tried folding the back down and pulling it up high so there’s a snug fit but often it leaks through his legs which is making me think sizing up wouldn’t solve this issue either.
What brand diapers do you recommend?

Huggies didn’t work for my baby, parents choice by Walmart worked the best
You may need a size 2 very soon

It sounds like they are too small for him. Size up.

1. Size up
2. The only ones that worked for me are the huggies snugglers they have an extra band in the back to prevent blow ups. Others swear by pampers swaddlers. Nothing is fool proof

IMO pampers are the best. But frequent blowouts usually equals sizing up.
Size 1 sounds pretty small for an average-sized 3 month old. I always move up before the official weight limit says I should.

Pampers baby dry was the only brand that worked for my babies, the chubby ones I put on pampers cruisers.
Also make sure that the ruffle around the pamper is fully out and make sure the pamper is totally straight and tabs in center where it belongs.

Rule #1 for me was to always size up. My kids are in size 1 for maybe a few weeks, I always size up to two quickly for better protection. Love huggies little snugglers, bh rarely had blowouts. Also, always make sure to pull the sides so it doesn’t leak out.

Make sure the ruffles around the legs are fully out.
And generally I size up before the weight guidelines on the pack.
We only used size one for a few weeks, maybe a month.
