I always heard that static guard is very unhealthy as it is carcinogenic. My big girls keep begging to use it. I'm wondering if anyone knows if this is really true or is it not worse than any other product we are using, like deodorant.

I find that rubbing a dryer sheet against the fabric does the job and without the awful smell.
