Yes! My dream is to have 3 kitchens, meat, dairy, and pesach!

I had a turning point kind of moment recently when I realized I hate getting mail. It's been all bills lately.

Yessss.

When I firmly and respectfully told the cleaning lady she must communicate in a timely manner if she is running late/not coming. Just like I will make sure she had all supplies she needs, that I pay her in time, and I feed her well, she has to keep her end of the deal.
Never had an issue with her.
Of she had to miss a day, she always tried to find a friend to fill in.
My currently cleaning lady came thru her too.

She was an amazing cleaning lady. Had her for a few years untill she found a full time job with health benefits.
She was more like a housekeeper+nanny than a cleaning lady. We all loved her. Kids would wait for her to come and show her their newest stuff they built and created.
She was with us thru painful/difficult times (including covid) and thru simchas. Always punctual and with the best attitude.
Imo, she deserved a lot more than the $14 I paid her, that was the going rate then. But I wasn't going to be the one to start bringing up the rate. So we tipped her generously. Usually a full weeks pay at least 2 times a year. And I always rounded up the pay to the next 10.

I still miss her!!!

When you realize you are on your own to deal with whatever life difficulty (aside from HKB"H) - you turn into an adult
