I tried a few times with my toddler and it was always super stressful and never went anywhere. I stopped trying a pressuring. Now he’s 4, and decided one day he wants to only go on the potty. Next day he decided to switch the the toilet. I did not say a word except encouraging after he went, but zero pressure. After 3 days he fully trained himself and I am thrilled! And so happy I did it this way instead of driving him and myself crazy and possibly creating negative/stressful energy around using the bathroom
