Do high school girls go to the principal on Purim to give mm? Do you give mm and/or tip teachers in high school? (Monsey)

I am a high school teacher in Brooklyn. very few girls give MM to teachers or the principal, but a few do. I think it's a nice token, esp if the kid has a kesher with her. (I was so glad my daughter's hs grade collected to give to her teachers this year. I don't need nosh, but I wish my students showed more hakaras hatov....)

I’m not in Monsey but in dd’s HS someone from each grade collects from anyone who wants to participate and gives one nice MM to the principal and teachers. It’s something they do on their own, it’s not a school collection. Some girls give their own additional to the principal, mechaneches or 1 or 2 teachers but it’s not the norm.
