Camps usually start the end of June. Not starting till July this year

My kids have school until the last week of June. They have less than a week off before camp starts.

Usually schools end around June 19-21. On the calendar it says last day to be announced though

I was wondering the same. Why is everything so late this year? Why are schools ending so late and camps starting so late? Which came first? OR is the late school start of next year the reason?

Shavuos falls out very late this year but shouldn't affect the last day of school

It's because it's a leap year so Elul is very late this year.
Boys camps need to be open bein hazmanim in order to have counselors. So then the camps that do first half girls/second half boys need to run the girls half accordingly.

My kids end school 6/20. camp starts on 6/25
Not particularly early
