Is there any treatment for allergies? I have three highly allergic children and the doctors just test and test to tell us what they’re allergic to and tell us to avoid all foods and carry Epipen’s.

OIT oral immunotherapy, though it is still considered controversial. It's a regimen of gradual introduction of the allergen in measured amounts. It's a very difficult process. It's not always successful, and it can potentially have side effects. Those who successfully complete the process can safely consume their allergens.

Xolair!! It is now approved for food allergies (and not only asthma). OIT can also work-
both are commitments- OIT is a daily commitment, and Xolair is a monthly injection.
