There was one that tasted rancid but I don’t remember which it was and I wish I’d written it down. Do they have both hand and machine?

Dont know about machine as we don't use them.
None of the matzos taste good, they're thicker and stale-not crisp even freshly made. They also have a sweetish nutty flavor from the oats.
Other than for actual washing meals my son eats the shehakol matzah-like crackers.

Are you sure npgs doesn't have Israeli hand matzah? We bought there two weeks ago. They usually don't run out.

We have never found machine that's worth eating straight. It's fine to cook with (we bruk).

Thanks. I use hand for the sedorim and machine for the other seudos. I don’t eat matzah if I don’t need to. I’m not celiac just ncgs but I’m in too much pain if I eat the regular matzah.

For the seudos you use only hand?

My first Pesach as a celiac here and this thread is making me want to just eat the regular matzah. Maybe I will. Makes me really sad to think I’d have to exchange the delicious crispy ones for a stale sad version.

I didn’t mind the hand matzah. It’s a weird texture but the flavor is same as cheerios. The machine matzah on the other hand …

I have ncgs not celiac and it still pays for me to stay away from regular matzah.

Toast matzah before eating - either on the flame or in the oven. It's a game changer. We use Pupa-Tzeilim hand.

If you're not celiac try Eyk Matzah from Satmar Broadway. It's super low gluten and actually tastes pretty decent. This is the one my family eats since we're allergic to gluten but not celiac
