I need to go grocery shopping
Then come home and start cooking
This means I probably won’t start cooking until 12
I know everyone is in the same situation

I have a huge problem with my legs knees hips and joints and have great mobility problems

I’m ok if it was 1 day shopping the next day cooking and the next day finishing up and setting the table = 3 days

But everything in one day is painful exhausting and I work slowly

Please give me chizuk that I’ll be able to do everything with strength and ease

OP, maybe you can do your shopping early morning so you can start cooking early.
Is there someone that can do your shopping for you?

I can emphasize OP. I have hip/back issues and can't walk too far without it being painful. I did all my shopping for Shabbos and the last days on Thursday. My plan for tomorrow is to wake up early, eat something quickly and take my strongest pain meds, then work as efficiently as possible while sitting down for anything I can and having other people in my house schlep things up and downstairs for me. If I had to shop and then cook like you're planning on doing then I'd put on a lidocaine patch on my back on top of taking my oral meds. And I am definitely not going to be the one setting the table!

Is there a way for you to simplify your cooking? Does your local kosher store sell ready to bake pans you just need to stick in the oven? Takeout?

Keep the cooking super simple

Chicken and potatoes in one pot, fish and soup

Fresh vegetables for salads- and that could be made later

You have a lot on your plate. Sending hugs. Eat before you shop and have something f to eat when you get back

Or better yet- have someone shop or deliver food for you

Im done with cooking
Some things need to be put into the oven closer to chag, but they are already prepped in the pan.

Thanks for all the tips
I do most simple meals, chopping sitting down, buy some takeout
I have help for both cooking and cleaning everyone pitches in. The big cleanup I have a cleaning lady here today, B”H
It’s still just a lot of back to back days

Next time I should go shopping Friday afternoon for Sunday night Chag.

But HASHEM is so kind to me that HE must have made time stand still for a little bit
