My employer offers insurance but it's more expensive than staying on cobra so for now I chose to do that and my employer is paying a portion of it.
Problem is that portion is being taxed and then I'm paying for the insurance.
Anyone have any ideas how I can get the reimbursement pretax?

You cannot

That’s the benefit of going through your employer

But you may be able to pay for cobra out of an HSA account which may be tax deductible
