m&s is really my first favourite shop. But I love next for their kids clothes!

why does the sizes jump from 12-18 month till 3 yrs. What happened to the sizes in between?

How do the quality of their cloth compare to gap/ralph lauren/old navy?

Pretty good. My DD buys things there, not just for the kids but for her. I don't remember if they carry men's things.

Tesco already has stores (albeit in a modified format) in the West Coast. It's called Fresh & Easy and been there for a few years by now.

I'm waiting for summer sales for Next.
