So yesterday I was driving home from work, minding my own business, and my car started to skid. The next thing I knew, I had hit the partition in the middle of the road, and was flying across the New Jersey Turnpike. B"H the guardrail on the other side stopped my 75mph flight, and I ended there.
I just wanted to give public hoda'ah to HKBH for saving my life - it was the NJT at 6:30 PM and not a car was hit (except my own). From comments of bystanders ("wow, you did so well!") that I didn't understand at first, it seems that my car (driven by Someone Else, 'cause I was frozen in terror) somehow dodged other cars before coming to its final resting place. B"H I'm fine (just a little banged up) and grateful to be alive.

WOW- You might want to ask your LOR if you should Bench Gomel in shul? More like have your DH do it for you.

We're waiting for an answer back from the LOR about Gomel - I think DH is going to just get a regular aliyah and have me in mind. But I wanted to be mefarsem the nes, so I decided to post it
