I'm assuming twin supports 2 bassinets - for 2 newborns, were duo supports one bassinet and one seat - for a newborn and and a toddler. But that is a guess on my part.

the cheaper one includes only 1 bassinet, the twin one includes 2. they both have 2 regular seats

pretty pricey, but with their following I'm sure people will be snatching it up. I would wait a year and see how it works in the real world, also as of now only 1 baby needs a stroller so that would make no sense. also excited to see all the cheaper copy cats that should be out in about 6 months!

Here's my issue with it:
If you have twins, then you'd have to have two bassinets, at least for the first few months. Do they both fit?
If you have two smaller kids, then I really have a problem. In my case, my kids outgrew the bugaboo by the time they were two. It's not that they didnt fit anymore, but I found other strollers that were more comfortable for children that size. (Hey, my 5 and 4 year olds still use the baby jogger to take naps in... That thing is like a cave!) So unless you have kids that are under a year apart, I don't think it's worth it. And even then, that stroller won't last more then a year...
So the question is, will the time you get to use it be worth the price you pay for it?

yes they fit. did you see the video of the frame extending so you can put in the second seat or bassinet? the same frame that the fabric for the seat/bassinet is on you can switch out to the other option. my 2 year old currently sits in her bugaboo very comfortably, even uses it to nap at the babysitter. I showed her the video of the double and the little stinker wants 'her carriage' that has room for a baby too!

Most kids start to look like they are falling out of the Bugaboo by age 2.

If it was made to fit two bassinets, it obviously fits.

Sorry, I disagree. The mountain buggy and baby jogger push just as easy, and they are cheaper than the bugaboo. If you want to buy the bugaboo because its a nice carriage go right ahead, but don't go around saying that its the only carriage that pushes well, that's why you bought it.

The bugaboo is definitely a status symbol for many frum people.

Try the Valco Buggster, as well as others. My sisters in law (well, two of them), HAD to have the bugaboo in Israel and they curse the day they bought it. It is SO difficult for them to shlep up the stairs.

my partially paralyzed neighbor tried every carriage in the store and that's the one she can shlep up a flight of stairs by herself.

I did recommend the Buggster to someone on this site, she wanted a carriage that is good for her very large toddler- an 18 month old who wears size 3 and 4t and outgrew her maclaren. she wanted more of a maclaren type, the Buggster has the 2 handles and she is very happy with it.

I also don't, I just have trouble pushing it 2-3 blocks and get home with a weird headache, I have some weird sensory issue which causes that. I use it just for in/out of car and if we are going to a hospital appointment where I'm not sure we can wheel the carriage into the exam room with us.

Exactly.
I know that people love to view the bugaboos as status symbols, but for some people, it is actually the stroller that makes the most functional sense. It is easy to push, narrower than the likes of the MBs and BJs, and the large rear tires make it easier to bump up steps than the likes of the city mini or buggsters or maclarens. If you live in a city and walk most places, and need to take it into narrow doorways and stores and up and down steps, you need your stroller to be all of the above.
Some people buy it because it's a bugaboo, and some people buy them for their functionality.
