I just baked a batch of puff pastry circles with nothing in them. Was I supposed to wait until tomorrow or can they be saved and taste good?

I did that for rosh hashana. I put them in an airtight container when they cooled and froze them. I defrosted them in room temp on the day I needed them and heated uncovered on the hotplate. tasted fine. wouldn't have known they were frozen at all.
