Chickpea Salad
Good for a three day yomtov, you easily make the salad by opening cans & leftovers can go right into the cholent!
1 tsp cumin
2 T lime juice (lemon is OK too)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 T oil
1/2 small red onion, cut up
1 stick celery, cut up
1 medium tomato, cut up
16 oz can chickpeas, drained
Put all ingredients in bowl, mix, serve and enjoy.
