People that eat chalav stam need their own forum!!! (not even thinking about women who only cover in shul, wear short sleeves, wear pants, open toes!)

ok I have no problems with cholov stam. Also with pas akum if I know what went into it. Oh yeah, I also eat rabbanut hechsher. And watch TV. And read secular newspapers.

I can't believe I even looked at this forum and hashem didn't make me blind!!!!!!!!!! I keep cy, pas, and specific shechita but as a teshuva for seeing this post I think I am taking on bishul yisroel and yoshon!!!!!!!!!!

But I do keep yoshon, does that invalidate me all of a sudden? And of course I only eat pas akum abroad where I have no choice ( just for you to not think I'm THAT bad...)

Also folks, and now all joking aside, it's a generational thing. When I was younger except in two or three neighborhoods FAAAR away from me there WAS no cholov yisroel. It was either no milk or regular. Everyone knew that the Jews drank Bordens for example which was certainliy super keeping to health standards in the USA. As for pas akum, there was no kosher bakery within an hour in any direction from where I grew up, so you learned to read ingredients and those were the days before e numbers and such problems.

Hence when someone over 50 like me says that they were quite frum growing up but drank cholov stam and except for shabbos when we would drive an hour to get stella doro rolls which had an OU and buy enough to put in the freezer, we ate pas akum during the week after the rolls were gone...because no one in those days had anything but a tiny freezer on trop of their fridge.

I eat cholov yisroel & pas yisroel as well as cholov stam, and non-pas yisroel. am not makpid on one specific shechita, and wear denim (just about everyday except shabbos).

I also drive shock
